Reformation Pamphlets Launch

On 29 October 2021, there will be a festive in-person launch of the ‘Passional Christi und Antichristi’, edited by Edmund Wareham. In June, there was already a launch of the online edition, 500 years and three weeks after the first edition of the pamphlet came out in Wittenberg. The paper version, part of the Taylor Editions Series 1: Reformation Pamphlets now comes five months later, replicating the later publication of the Erfurt edition, to which the copy in the Taylorian, Taylor ARCH 8° G. 1521 (19), belongs. The pamphlet itself will be present, as will be all the four other editions held in Oxford, in a rare meeting of books from the Taylorian and the Bodleian.
